Presenter's Bio:

Emma has 20 years experience working as a frontline worker in a domestic violence service and is the current Refuge Co-Ordinator in ADAPT. Emma is also an accredited member of the IACP in private practice. Michelle is an active member of an Garda Siochana as a Detective Sergeant assigned to the Protective Services Unit in the Kerry Division.


Event Outline:

This event will outline the experience of domestic violence and coercive control for survivors.

The speakers will outline what services are available locally through ADAPT Kerry Refuge and Support Services as well as the supports available through the Protective Services Unit in An Garda Siochana with particular emphasis on coercive control.
