The research paper under discussion for the fourth Research Journal Club will be the recently published "Too human and not human enough: A grounded theory analysis of mental health harms from emotional dependence on the social chatbot Repplika" by Laestadius et al from the journal New Media and Society 2022 pp1-19.

Along with the Research Committee members facilitating the discussion, IACP member Professor Heike Felzmann will participate, sharing insights from her own research in the area of ethical issues relating to the ethical and trustworthy development of artificial agents for health and mental health and introduce some thoughts on their significance for counsellors and psychotherapists.
