Geraldine uses a contemporary approach to counselling and psychotherapy integrating body, mind, soul and spirit in her work.
Workshop Outline:In recent years some of the most exciting developments in the field of psychology and psychotherapy have been in the area of neuroscience, relational psychology, the implicit domain and the inclusion of the body. This workshop is based on Geraldine\'s doctoral research study which documents what happens between bodies in the psychotherapeutic encounter. The workshop will explore what happens at the implicit level of relating when two bodies meet. It will give participants an opportunity to deepen their understanding of the bidirectional, somatic communication which occurs between therapist and client and that which is facilitated by micro body to body processes. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to apply this model to their own practice which will add to their knowledge and understanding of the implicit intersubjective field of the therapeutic relationship
Training Level: All Levels
CPD certificates will be emailed to participants after attendance at the Workshop.
