Presenter Professor Ivor Browne.

Professor Ivor Browne is respected both for his professional and personal compassion and his consistent opposition to orthodox psychiatry.

A fellowship recipient from Harvard University in Public and Community Mental Health, Dr Brown was Professor of Psychiatry at UXS and Chief Psychiatrist of the Eastern Health Board until him retirement.

In this interactive workshop Professor Browne will explore and discuss the somewhat uneasy relationship between orthodox psychiatry and the application of the main psychotherapeutic models in Ireland today.
