Your participation and support at the AGM is encouraged and valued as it is your main forum, as a Member of the IACP, to express your opinion and to vote on Motions and Executive Committee elections.
The AGM is a good opportunity for you to ensure that you are fully informed of current policies, standards and activities. It is also a great opportunity to network with colleagues and fellow members.
Motions
Motions and Amendments to the Memorandum, Articles of Association, Byelaws and Regulations can be proposed and seconded by Accredited Members. Motions must be sent by post and include the signatures of both the proposer and the seconder. Please note that all proposed motions must be accompanied by an explanation and rationale of 200 words (maximum). Please submit to Liz Gannon at the IACP office by the 8th February 2013.
Executive Committee Nominations
Nominations for the Executive Committee need to be proposed and seconded. All nominations must include a brief biography of 200 words (maximum). Motions must be sent by post and include the signatures of both the proposer and the seconder. Please submit to Liz Gannon at the IACP office by the 8th February 2013.
Carl Berkeley Memorial Award 2013
All members are invited to nominate candidates for the Carl Berkeley Memorial Award 2013. This award is open to all those who have made a significant contribution to the development of Counselling and Psychotherapy in Ireland. Submissions
should be sent to Liz Gannon at the IACP office before 31st January 2013.
Social Evening
A social evening with entertainment, complimentary finger food and refreshments will be held in the Seve Ballesteros Suite in the Clubhouse on Friday 22 March 2013 at 7:30pm (the evening before the AGM). The social evening is open to all IACP Members and their spouse or partner.
If you plan to attend either of these events, it is strongly advised that you register in advance.
Your ticket for the AGM will be emailed to you once you have registered.

From Dublin Airport - 60 Minutes - Follow signs southbound for the M50. Go through westlink toll bridge and take exit 9 heading southbound on the M7/N7 signpost for Cork. Continue on the M7/N7 and take exit for Monasterevin (Junction 14) Pass through Monasterevin village and travel for 3 KM and take right turn at Bolands Pub. Killenard village is located just 3 Km from this junction.
From Dublin City - 60 Minutes - Follow signs southbound for the M7/N7 signpost for Cork. Continue on the M7/N7 and take exit for Monasterevin (junction 14) Pass through Monasterevin village and travel for 3 km and take right turn at Bolands Pub.
From Limerick & Cork - 1 hour 30 mins - Follow signs M7 north bound to Dublin. Leave the M7 at Junction 15 that is sign posted Killenard. When you turn off take the left and follow the signs for Killenard and Ballybrittas. You will approach a roundabout ahead. Take a right on this and head for Ballybrittas village which is 2 miles up the road and then take left turn for Killenard. This road is signposted all the way to the Heritage Golf & Spa Resort and will take you 5 minutes approx. to Killenard.

From Enfield, Kinnegad, or Mullingar take the M6 (coming in the opposite direction), & take Exit 5, at the roundabout take 2nd exit signposted Tullamore, then follow the same directions from Galway
