NIRC - An Introduction to Energy Therapy within a Clinical Setting

Presenters Bio:

Based in her Dublin Clinic since 1997, Dr Karen Ward is a Psychotherapist and Supervisor (MIACP), Lecturer and Holistic Therapist.

Her research at DCU encompassed a specific Energy Therapy technique based on Irish Celtic Shamanism to safely introduce non-denominational spirituality into a Counselling setting. She now leads workshops countrywide and abroad to teach this technique to fellow health practitioners. Karen co-founded and runs the Slí an Chroí School of Irish Celtic Shamanism – holistic living in tandem with the cycles of nature - with her husband John Cantwell. She created the Moon Mná Women’s Celtic Circles offering Rites of Passage Ceremonies and online Courses worldwide.

Workshop Outline:

Many clients have an increasing awareness of how both holistic and nature-based approaches provide a source of solace and nurture during these difficult times. During this 3 hour interactive Zoom event, Counsellors and Psychotherapists will learn how to use simple techniques, with consent, to safely and effectively harness these approaches in a clinical environment to help clients to move forward with their lives. These easy to implement techniques, based on Irish Celtic Shamanism – holistic living in tandem with nature, may be immediately put to use in your practise and provide ways to unearth the source of client's issues energetically by supporting them to tap into their subconscious with empowerment.

This 3 hour interactive Workshop online via Zoom includes Breakout Rooms for practise of each technique offered and a generous Q&A session.

CPD Certs will be emailed to participants after attendance at the Event
