Because of the rapidly evolving nature of the situation with COVID-19, the IACP have made the decision to postpone all scheduled IACP events for March and April.

NERC Workshop - Understanding Personality Disorders

Presenters Bio:

Dr Denise Mullen ( PsyD, MIACP) is a consultant psychologist with experience in a wide range of settings including individual and group therapy, in-patient treatment and university lecturing and workshop presentations. She has studied extensively in the areas of psychodynamic and object relations theories, developmental psychology and attachment theory. With three decades of clinical practice in both Califonia and Ireland, Dr Mullen brings indepth experience and unique case studies which allow lively discussion.

Workshop Outline:

Narcissitic, Antisocial, Borderline… these common terms are often bandied about inaccurately to describe 'difficult' people. In this ground breaking workshop we peel back the labels and grasp the causes and criteria of personality disorders (PDs). Through questions and answers, discussion, case studies, creative writing, and music, participants will become familiar with the 10 PDs listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders (DSM-5).

CPD Certs will be emailed to participants after attendance at the Workshop

Please Note:

IACP will continue to monitor the situation about the Coronavirus and will adhere to any further recommendations issued by the HSE and/or the National Public Health Emergency Team.

Our IACP planned events will continue but we do ask any attendee, if they have recently returned from an affected area, that they do not attend these events, and to follow the advice of the HSE here.
