Presenters Bio:  Jenny Smyth 

Jenny has over 30 years of experience working in the field of disabilities and has a background in education and training. On the night Jenny will help us navigate the current issues around legislation and the importance of how we maintain one of the most vital aspects of our practice!

This will be followed by the networking part of the evening facilitated by Alan Oates and Anne Devlin

Anne Devlin Owner of City Therapy 

Ann closely mentors new counsellors and students to hit the ground running in their new career. Anne gets to work closely with mentees, using her knowledge and experience to create an environment for their students that is safe and one that allows every individual to reach their fullest potential. With years of experience and a booming successful counselling centre, Ann will be available to help move you to your next step as a therapist and business owner!

Alan Oates Owner of Marino Counselling and Psychotherapy

Alan has years of experience working for such organisations as The ISPCC and DePaul Ireland. He has been a Public Representative, as well as working within the private sector for a multinational company specialising in sales and marketing. Alan has applied his business acumen to help therapists recognise their strengths and shape their practice. Alan also works within the public sector for a primary school as a counsellor for children and gives numerous workshops for parents, teachers and businesses.
