Present a Workshop entitled: Complicated Grief

 

Presenters Bio: Dr Susan Delaney is a Clinical Psychologist and Mindfulness teacher. She is the Bereavement  Consultant for the Irish Hospice Foundation and runs the Complicated Grief Programme there. Susan teaches Bereavement Counselling skills on the IHF Master's programme and is a member of the international Train-the-Trainers group in Columbia University's Complicated Grief Center.

Workshop Outline: .On completion of the workshop participants will be able to:

• Differentiate between normal and complicated grief
• Recognise and assess complicated grief
• Have a conceptual understanding of why grief becomes complicated
• Learn simple, effective strategies for working with people who are stuck in their  grief

Training Level: All Levels.
