Present a Worskhop : Anger Management

 

Presenters Bio: Fergus brings a lifelong experience of having lived and worked in highly anxious and traumatic environments. Fergus served for nearly 30 years with the Irish Defence Forces and the United Nations having joined straight from school as an 18 year old. In that time, he develpoped from a young infantry soldier to on of great training and knowledge who has learned from great personal and interpersonal experience in the field, particularly in the Middle East. Fergus was uniquely trained by the Defence Forces and has served on the ground as a frontline Psychological Trauma Responder on missions in dozens of countries all over the world. 

Workshop Outline: Anger is probably the most talked about and most misunderstood human emotion and it is certainly the one that gets the most press. This one day training looks at the different types of anger we experience.    Internal and External Triggers: Identifying the different things that can trigger negative emotions, including an exercise that can help the therpaist and the c;ient to access hidden anger using the Uncover, Discover, Recover Model. The Physiology of Anger: Understanding how anger effects us physically and menatally and the impact this can have on you and your clients.
