Present a workshop entitled:

Complicated Grief

Presenters Bio: Dr. Susan Delaney, Clinical Psychologist is the Bereavement Servises Manager in the Irish Hospice Foundation and manges the Complicated Grief Programme there.

Workshop Outline: This workshop will provide participants with a grounding in Complicated Grief. (CG) is largely a misunderstood disorder which affects about 10% of bereaved people. It is characterised by serious impairment in functioning and an inability to engage satisfactorily with everyday like. A growing body of evidence indicates that CG does not respond well to traditional supportive counselling and newly developed protocols such as Shears CGT, are showing improved outcomes for this population.

Training Level: All Levels.

CPD certificates will be emailed to participants after attendance at the Workshop.
