Presenters Bio's: Dr. Denise Mullen (PsyD, MIACP) is a consultant psychologiest with experience in a wide range of settings including individual and group therapy, in-patient treatment, university lecturing and workshop presentations. She has studied extensively in the areas of psychodynamic and object relations theories, developmental psychology and attachment theory. With 27 years clinical practice in both California and Ireland. Dr. Mullen brings in-depth experience and unique case studies which allow lively discussion.

 

Workshop Outline: Narcissistic, Antisocial, Borderline... these common terms are often bandied about inaccurately to describe "difficult" people. In this ground-breaking workshop we peel back the labels and grasp the causes and criteria of personality disorders (PDs). Through discussion, case studies, drama and music, participants will become familiar with the 10 PDs listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders (DSM-5)
