Presenter:  Josephine O’ Halloran, MIACP, MIHIP, MCOSRT.
Josephine is a counselor, psychotherapist, psychosexual therapist, relationship counselor & relationship therapy organization in the UK. Josephine has a private practice in Galway city for over 10 years.

Outline: 

  • Awareness about the prevalence of sexual difficulties among clients
  • Exploring our own personal attitudes around our sexuality
  • Information on sexual dysfunction & on strategies used.
  • Help in identifying the sexual dysfunctions that clients present with.
  • How to make appropriate referrals & how to get specialist help.
  • To discuss the Attachment Theory & how child abuse, neglect & stress change the structure of the brain & the functioning of the immune system.
  • The Paraphilias
  • To discuss how this can impact on sexual behavior
  • The Treatment Programme
