Presenter Bio
:  Kay (Catherine) Duff is the Counsellor for the Merrion Fertility Clinic in Dublin. She is one of Ireland's most experienced fertility counsellors. For over twenty years she has worked with couples and individuals experiencing fertility problems. She offers specific supervision to psychotherapists and counsellors in the area of fertility counselling as well as establishing a general supervision practice.               Gerry Farrell is a psychotherapist in private practice. He has lectured in Trinity College, Dublin, N.U.I., Maynooth and Sligo IT. Gerry has provided fertility counselling to clients seeking human assisted reproduction treatments both in Ireland and abroad. He has vast experience in the area of psychiatry, residential child care as well as addictions.  

Outline: Experiencing Infertility Vs. Being Infertile. The emotional impact of fertility issues on couples. The emotional issues of fertility issues on the individual. The losses involved in fertility issues. Information needed to help clients. Models of Counselling and Fertility Counselling. The emerging issues. Processing of specific issues.
