Presenter Bio
:  Dr Jim O\'Donoghue is  a Clinical Psychotherapist/Supervisor who has been working in Psychotherapy/Counselling for over forty years in Hospital and Community Settings both in Ireland and abroad. He is currently Director at Castlebar Counselling the Therapy Centre. He continues to work with troubled people and to train students on a 5/6year Post Graduate Programe in Psychotherapy/Counselling.  He has been involved in the foundation of four Counselling Centres in Ireland and has previously worked in training Marriage Counsellors in Enniskillen, Newry, Belfast, Benburb and Letterkenny.

Outline: Modern research into the brain\'s ability to recover from serious injury has revealed new possibilities for the treatment of a number of previously intctable psychological conditions such as OCD, Anxiety and Depression, etc. This seminar examines this research and provides the practitioner with sinple but highly effective exercises to help clinets \'rewire\' their brain\'s neutoplasticity and alter their habitual psychological responses.
