Event Outline:

Writing poetry is more than a creative outlet; it is a pathway to healing, insight, and growth.  This introduction will equip you with both the tools to write your own poetry and the understanding of how to facilitate poetic expression in your therapeutic work.

Haiku, a ancient traditional form of Japanese poetry, offers a simple yet profound way to capture moments of awareness, emotion, and nature. For psychotherapists and their clients the brief structure of Haiku encourages focused attention, introspection, and creativity, all of which are invaluable in therapy.

This workshop will be experiential – part tutorial, part discussion and part practice.

CPD Certs will be emailed to participants after attendance at the Event
